Kayla Wright

Kayla Wright is the Communications Manager for Career Services. Kayla graduated cum laude from Hillsdale College in 2016 with a B.A. in Marketing Management. After graduation, she was hired as Marketing Coordinator for a charter school network in Gilbert, AZ. Kayla built the marketing department from the ground up, eventually becoming the school’s Marketing Director and sat on the Executive Senior Leadership Team. In 2021, Kayla decided to return to her home state of Michigan to be closer to family, which led her back to her alma mater.

In her role, Kayla oversees all external communication from the Career Services office. She works to promote the team’s ongoing projects and achievements among alumni, prospective students, and friends of the college. She also manages The HUB, the department website, alumni mentorship initiatives, and various other reports and initiatives the department takes on each year.

Outside of the office, Kayla loves spending time with friends and family, getting outside and enjoying nature, reading whatever book is next on her list, and finding projects where she can be creative–art, music, food, you name it!
