Sharon Kinsler-Rupp

Biography

Sharon Rupp is the Assistant Director of Career Services. Sharon has worked in higher education for over 10 years serving students in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. She brings unique perspective working in both the private and public sectors in the health care field with a focus on preparing students for their career through employer connections and internships.

Sharon is a Hillsdale College alumnus and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. During her time at Hillsdale, she was a member of the Women’s Cross Country and Track Teams where she earned All American Honors in Cross Country and Indoor Track. She was inducted into the Hillsdale Athletic Hall of Fame as a member of the Distant Medial Relay Team in 2000. She completed her Master of Science in General Administration at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Sharon has a passion for advocating for students and supporting them in all aspects of their career path. She believes that educating and empowering students is an important stepping stone along the path to success that starts here at Hillsdale College.

Outside of Career Services, Sharon enjoys snow skiing, running, boating, reading, and spending time with her husband Matt, four daughters and her puppy Rey.
