Staff Positions

Full-Time Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and will be responsible for all aspects of design, development, implementation, monitoring and assessment of strength and conditioning programs for approximately 360 student-athletes competing in 16 sports at the NCAA Division II level.

The Head Coach will work cooperatively with coaching and athletic training staff to develop team and individualized programs. Responsible for oversight and maintenance of two weight rooms and all equipment, and the oversight of budget, staff, and administrative processes related to the strength and conditioning program.

Web Developer

Responsibilities include administering College web presence, infrastructure, server (IIS); maintain, develop, and implement enhancements to the current web site; create and maintain links between web applications and core systems. Develop a strategy to work with all College offices and departments, to promote the College’s message to provide our constituents with accurate, timely, web based content and services.

Characteristics: Problem solving, organization, work with minimal supervision, teamwork, adapt and support change. In depth working knowledge of HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, CSS, Photoshop, VB Script, Java, JavaScript, CMS, Windows Server, IIS, (Apache Tomcat), web-enabled DB environments, performance monitoring, web use/ tracking & reporting.

A Bachelor's degree and two or more years of related experience and/or training are needed or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Custodian

A full-time, third-shift position is now open for application. This shift requires a person to work from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a half-hour lunch, Sunday through Thursday. This individual will be a member of a high efficiency team and will be required to perform all types of cleaning in various buildings throughout the campus area.

Men’s House Director

Requirements include, but are not limited to, living in the house during the school year, being accessible in the event of an emergency, overseeing the physical upkeep of the house, serving as host for social events, and maintaining College policies. Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities include integrating web, Microsoft applications, and enterprise solutions by developing applications using a combination of the following programming languages; ASP.NET, VB.Net, C#, VB Script, TSQL, and JavaScript in a professional environment. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases, reporting services (or Crystal Reports), integration services and analysis services. Working knowledge of Ellucian Colleague and or Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge in a higher education environment a plus.

Aide to Business Office Director and Accounts Receivable Clerk

Daily activities of the accounts receivable position include posting to student, academy, nursery school and personal accounts; check accuracy and completeness of records; answer routine inquiries by phone or in person; type collection letters, NSF letters correspondence; generate and send monthly statements; prepare requisitions for student refunds; record bookstore charge slips; prepare monthly trial balances and reconcile various accounts; generate and send semester and summer school invoices.

The assistant must have a general knowledge of all areas of the Business Office to provide support as needed and complete daily tasks during the director’s absence. Candidate must possess good accounting and computer skills; possess excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with College staff, parents and students on the phone and in person. Zone Maintenance – Heating and Cooling Technician

Perform general maintenance activity in designated areas, including periodic and scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair of any and/or all in-house systems. Maintain heating and air conditioning systems in all buildings including the testing and treatment of boilers, cooling towers, and related equipment on daily basis among other duties. Requires a high school diploma, a HVAC certificate, mechanical license, and two (2) years experience, which fulfills the needs of the College. Part-Time Staff Positions

Dow Center Hotel Guest Services Team Member

Work times will be based on occupancy with different work schedules each week (includes some weekends and must be flexible to work all shifts).  Hours will vary depending on occupancy and need.  Person will share in cleaning guest rooms, meeting rooms, public areas, and restrooms as well as conference room set-ups, laundry, and front desk operations.

Dow Center Hotel Weekend Night Auditor

Hours are Saturday and Sunday 11:30 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Primary duties are to analyze and process the daily work of the hotel and conference center while handling front desk operations. Must have basic office skills, an understanding of general math, experience using a computer along with bookkeeping/accounting.

Fraternity House Part-Time Cook

Two years of food preparation experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and training. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and cleanliness in kitchen area, meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing lunch and dinner five days a week for up to 36 people during the school year. The cook will be required to plan and prepare meals with the house director and fraternity leadership for several special occasions throughout the school year.
