Biologist (Molecular & Cell Biology) for the Biology Department
Hillsdale College, a selective and independent liberal arts college of 1300 students in south-central Michigan, is seeking a broadly trained Biologist (Molecular and Cell Biology specialty). The successful candidate for this tenure-track position, at the assistant professor rank, must demonstrate effective design and teaching of undergraduate classes from introductory non-majors to upper level biology majors, as well as an ability to supervise undergraduate senior thesis research. A Ph.D. in a respective field is required, post-doctoral experience is desirable, and experience with real-time PCR, DNA cloning and sequencing techniques is necessary. Tenure-track Assistant Professor for the English Department

- Two courses in an introductory Great Books literature sequence (Ancient to Medieval and British and American)
- A survey course in American literature or an upper-level course in American literature

Design and oversee construction of sets for 4 theatre productions plus one Dance Concert per year. Also teach Scenic Design in individual and team-taught courses.
