Mission
The mission of the Actuarial Club is to foster cooperation among and nurture the development of those Hillsdale students interested in pursuing a career in the actuarial sciences.
Activities
The club meets weekly to discuss issues relevant to actuarial students and to work practice problems in preparation for the actuarial exams. The club also holds a social gathering every semester and brings guest speakers to campus occasionally.
The Actuarial Club is also a Coaching Actuaries Preferred Club, a distinction that grants Hillsdale students discounts on ADAPT software and other test-preparation resources.
Membership
To qualify for membership in the Actuarial Club, it is sufficient that a student be interested in or curious about the actuarial sciences, either vocationally or academically.
