Rising high school juniors, seniors, and talented sophomores are invited to earn college credit with Hillsdale faculty in an intensive two-week summer travel seminar on the cultural riches of Italy and their influence on Western Civilization.

Course study begins on the Hillsdale College campus in southern Michigan and continues at sites including:

  • Rome
  • Pompeii
  • Venice
  • Florence

Featured faculty include:

  • Dr. David Jones, Edward Reid Chair and Professor of Classical Studies 
  • Dr. Joseph Garnjobst, Chairman and Associate Professor of Classical Studies 

A $4,295 course fee includes:

  • tuition fees for three academic credits
  • airport shuttles to and from Hillsdale
  • international flight from Detroit Metropolitan Airport
  • private bus and other land travel while abroad
  • housing
  • daily breakfast and dinner
  • all site fees
