Hillsdale, Mich. – Hillsdale College’s John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center is continuing its summer programming with Couples for Liberty and Ladies for Liberty shooting camps. Couples for Liberty will take place June 27 to 30, 2020 and August 1 to 4, 2020, and Ladies for Liberty will take place July 18 to 21, 2020.

“Each summer, these camps give newcomers and experienced shooters an opportunity to learn more about shooting sports, refine their skills, and connect with others who have similar interests,” said Gena Grant, program coordinator. “We are grateful to our donors and sponsors who make this unique opportunity possible.”

The camps are designed to welcome enthusiasts of all experience levels, offering practice in handgun and shotgun fundamentals as well as lectures from Hillsdale College faculty on the important role of the U.S. Constitution and the Second Amendment. Attendees ages 21 and up of all experience levels are welcome.

Accommodations include rooms on campus at the Dow Center Hotel, catered meals and receptions, a shuttle to and from Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and the use of firearms and ammunition. Participants may also bring their own firearms.

The Couples for Liberty and Ladies for Liberty camps are made possible thanks to the generous sponsorships of Winchester, Smith & Wesson, and Springfield Armory.

Space is limited. Interested parties should contact Program Coordinator Gena Grant at (517) 607-2563 or [email protected].
