Hillsdale, Mich. — Schools around the world are navigating the COVID-19 pandemic by creating new and innovative ways to connect with current and prospective students. To provide a safe way for students to view the campus, Hillsdale College Admissions staff created a virtual campus tour that is accessible worldwide. The College also offers virtual information sessions for prospective students.

In the opening video of the virtual tour, Matthew Sauer, assistant director of Ohio and Indiana recruitment at Hillsdale College, shares the purpose of the video series:

“Normally, in the course of a year, Hillsdale will welcome thousands of visitors from around the country, indeed, from around the world, to come see our beautiful south-central Michigan campus. Times being what they are, we know that many of you cannot make it to campus, so we figured we would bring campus to you.”

The video series introduces prospective students to Hillsdale College’s main campus and tells the story of the College’s founding, its historical significance, and the academic and fine arts opportunities available to students. It also covers residence life and Hillsdale College’s unique community.

All online tour features are available on the Hillsdale College website. Admitted freshmen and transfer students will also have the opportunity to connect with alumni, counselors, and current students through video conferencing to ask questions and gain first-hand knowledge of the Hillsdale College community.
