Halter Center Hosts USA National Junior Olympic Shotgun Championships
HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center hosted the USA Shooting National Junior Olympic Shotgun Championships. The skeet competition took place from June 9-11, and the trap competition took place from June 16-18.
Hillsdale College shotgun team members Josh Corbin and Jordan Sapp earned golds in their respective disciplines. Corbin and Sapp will compete at the Junior World Championships in South Korea.
“These young shooters are the future of competitive shooting. It’s very exciting to have them at our range,” said Caitlin Connor Royer, assistant program development and competition manager at the Halter Center. “We saw great competition this week and, as usual, were honored to host the event.”
