About Governor Pete Ricketts

Pete Ricketts is the 40th governor of Nebraska. Since taking office in 2015, he has successfully fostered a more effective and more efficient state government. Prior to being elected governor, Gov. Ricketts held various senior leadership positions at TD Ameritrade. He is also the founder of Drakon, LLC, a company geared toward the support of local startups and entrepreneurs. He is also a director of the Chicago Cubs baseball team.

About Hillsdale College

Founded in 1844, Hillsdale College is an independent, coeducational, residential, liberal arts college with a student body of about 1,500. Its four-year curriculum leads to the bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree, and it is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
