Hillsdale College Ranked Among Nation’s Best Colleges for Veterans
Learn.org recognizes College for supporting veterans through Freedom Scholarship program
Hillsdale, Mich., April 20, 2019 — Hillsdale College has been ranked third in the nation on Learn.org’s 2019 list of Best Colleges for Veterans in recognition of the College’s Freedom Scholarship program for military service members.
Funded entirely by private contributions, the Freedom Scholarship is intended to provide veterans from all military branches the opportunity to receive a liberal arts education at Hillsdale College without any financial restrictions. The scholarship can be applied to the cost of tuition, room, board, fees, and books, and because Hillsdale College does not accept any form of government funding, a student’s GI Bill funds are left untouched for future use toward an advanced degree or funding a family member’s education.
