Hillsdale College Hosts Admissions Visit Day on January 18

January 12, 2016 – Hillsdale, MI

On Monday, Jan. 18, Hillsdale College invites prospective college students and their families to its 400-acre campus for the first admissions visit day of 2016. Guests will join current students, faculty members, and admissions staff members to learn about the College and its academic and student life programs.

“Hillsdale College visit days are an important part of our efforts to introduce the College to students and parents,” said Doug Banbury, vice president for admissions. “These events give our guests a glimpse into what it’s like being a Hillsdale student, and what Hillsdale can offer you in terms of expanding your mind and your future.”

Prospective students and their parents are welcome to explore the historic campus of Hillsdale College for an inside look at learning and life at an elite, classical liberal arts college. The Princeton Review ranks Hillsdale students as some of the happiest in the country, and visiting students and their families can meet the College’s nationally ranked professors and members of its spirited student body. Students will also see what a Hillsdale College liberal arts education is like by experiencing the classroom firsthand.

The admissions visit day program can include:

  • Campus tour
  • Student life panel
  • Student services panel
  • Classroom visit (students only)
  • Admissions and financial presentations
  • Academic programs sessions
  • Lunch in the Grewcock Student Union
  • Admissions interviews
