Churchill’s Trial Surpasses 25,000 Copies Sold Nationwide

HILLSDALE, Mich. – Hillsdale College today announced that more than 25,000 copies of Churchill’s Trial:
Winston Churchill and the Salvation of Free Government by Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn have been sold since its release on Oct. 13, 2015.

Churchill’s Trial examines Churchill’s unwavering defense of liberty in the face of Nazism, Soviet communism, and his own nation’s drift toward socialism. As editor of the official biography of Winston Churchill, Dr. Arnn draws from his knowledge to argue that Churchill’s fight for liberty remains relevant in our time.

Churchill’s Trial: Winston Churchill and the Salvation of Free Government can be purchased at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other book retailers nationwide.

The study of statesmanship is central to the teaching mission of Hillsdale College which is at the forefront of Churchill research, scholarship, and analysis. Through its Churchill Project, the College is completing the remaining volumes of The Churchill Documents, a series in the official biography of Winston Churchill. It is archiving the papers of Sir Martin Gilbert, Churchill’s official biographer from 1968 to 2012, and promoting Churchill scholarship through national conferences, scholarships, and online courses. Larry P. Arnn is the president of Hillsdale College, where he also serves as a professor of politics and history. He received his B.A. at Arkansas State University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in government at Claremont Graduate School.
