Alpha Tau Omega Residence

Receiving its charter in 1888, ATO has continued to flourish and was named the National True Merit Chapter for four consecutive years.

The Alpha Tau Omega fraternity was founded in order “to bind men together in a brotherhood based upon eternal and immutable principles, with a bond as strong as right itself and as lasting as humanity.” The chapter’s house sits on the corner of Hillsdale and Fayette Streets. Its white, grand facade boasts regalness and was home to former College president Joseph Mauck. Formerly known as “Windsor Castle” and “Sunnycrest,” ATO alumni purchased the home in 1950. Since then, alumni have committed to upkeep the home.
