Moss Hall

Moss Hall

Located to the west of Central Hall, Moss Hall houses the offices of the President, Provost, External Affairs, Institutional Advancement, and the Mailroom/Copy Center.

History

Moss Hall, completed in 2000, is named for the late Hillsdale College Trustee Joe Moss and his wife, Nena.

It sits on the same location as Knowlton Hall, which formerly housed the science and English departments and the Hillsdale College Museum, and later the speech, theatre, and art departments. Knowlton Hall was razed in 1999 to make room for Moss Hall, which was constructed with a similar Italianate and Second Empire styling.
