Emilie Fairfield

A small-town girl from southern Idaho, Emilie grew up with a love of learning and exploring. Senior year she found herself befuddled about where to attend college. Hillsdale presented itself through a radio ad at her father’s workplace, and after a whirlwind application, she found herself engrossed in one of the most challenging and worthwhile endeavors of her life. A lover of children’s literature, phonics, rhetoric, and long walks by Hayden Park, she treasured her four years at the college and graduated with a degree in speech and a minor in classical education. Today, she resides in Reno, Nevada, with her husband and represents Hillsdale regionally.
