Great Economists

CCA II: Great Economists

November 5 - November 8, 2023

Event Details

Adam Smith’s The Wealth of Nations, published in 1776, established the modern notion of free market economics. Since that time, there has been an ongoing debate over the relative morality and effectiveness of market-based and other types of economies. This second CCA of the 2023-2024 academic year, co-sponsored by the Ludwig von Mises Lecture Series, will examine this debate by exploring the lives and ideas of some of history’s most influential economists.
