Hillsdale College invites you to a lecture hosted by the Kirby Center. On June 19th, David F. Forte, Professor of Law at Cleveland State University will be giving a lecture entitled, “Self-Government for the Self-Governed: The Role of Virtue in a Democratic Republic.” This lecture is sponsored by the AWC Family Foundation.
About the Speaker
David F. Forte is a professor of Law at Cleveland State University, where he holds the Charles R. Emrick, Jr.-Calfee Halter & Griswold Endowed Chair. He holds degrees from Harvard College, Manchester University, the University of Toronto, and Columbia University. Professor Forte has served as chief counsel to the United States delegation to the United Nations, is on the board of directors of the Philadelphia Society, and is senior editor of The Heritage Guide to the Constitution.
