HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College announces the kickoff of its 2023-2024 Professional Artist Series with an exhibit of illustrations by Andrew Bosley, a freelance illustrator, game designer, and writer whose work is featured in Everdell, Assassin’s Creed, and Ghost Recon. Students and community members can visit the Bosley exhibit in the Daughtrey Art Gallery from Sept. 8, through Oct. 18.
“Andrew Bosley is a phenomenal artist whose work embodies what he calls ‘The Illustration Spirit.’ Through his dedication to the craft and tradition of American Illustration, he is able to transport the viewer to a whimsical place with timeless depth,” said Julio Suarez, chair of the Hillsdale College art department.
Andrew Bosley received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration from San Jose State University before becoming a concept artist for software developer Ubisoft. While there, he worked on AAA video game titles where he specialized in environmental and character design.
