Hillsdale College Helps High School Students Jump-Start Their College Experience Through Travel Opportunities with College Credit

Hillsdale, Mich. — Hillsdale College welcomes all high school students to earn college credit through its domestic and international High School Summer Study and Travel programs. The programs last for two weeks and are chaperoned and taught by Hillsdale College professors.

“Hillsdale College aims to inspire students of all ages. These programs allow us to reach future generations by providing high school students with an opportunity to learn about some of the great ideas, events and individuals that have shaped the Western world,” said Doug Banbury, vice president for admissions at the College. “It is a rich and rewarding experience for all participants, and I urge interested students to apply and jump-start their college education by traveling with Hillsdale.”

The summer study travel programs are open to qualified rising high school juniors, seniors, and sophomores interested in any future college major. All courses begin with a short stay at Hillsdale College, where orientation and course instruction are provided.

Program costs include,: international flight from Detroit Metro Airport (where applicable); transportation between the airport and the Hillsdale College campus (where necessary); housing and all meals on the Hillsdale campus; land travel via private buses; housing in quality hotels; breakfast and dinner each day while off campus; all entry fees to site visits; and tuition fees for three undergraduate Hillsdale College credits.

June 15 – June 28
