Hillsdale College Hosts Networking Event with Students, Local Organizations
Local businesses, organizations share regional offerings with incoming students
Hillsdale, Mich. – On Tuesday, August 29, Hillsdale College hosted The Source for returning students. The Source is a college community networking event to help connect students with clubs and organizations, local businesses, volunteer programs, and on-campus employment opportunities.
At this year’s event, there were 102 campus organizations, 42 local businesses or organizations, 12 campus departments, and 21 volunteer programs represented. More than 900 college students attended this year’s event.
“We all recognize that there is so much special about the Hillsdale community, both within the college and in town,” said Hank Prim, assistant director of student activities at Hillsdale College. “The Source provides an avenue to connect students with all that is special and great about our community, as so they can make the most out of their time at Hillsdale.”
