HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College Maintenance Department hosted its annual campus-wide Christmas breakfast in support of Toys for Tots on Dec. 15. The department invited all faculty and staff to attend the buffet-style breakfast in the Fowler Maintenance Building.

“I am so proud of Dave Billington and his physical plant team for all the work they do to maintain this tradition, which brings the College family together and illustrates the department’s commitment to those in need during this Christmas Season,” said Rich Péwé, chief administrative officer of Hillsdale College.

Faculty and staff attended the breakfast in the open, lower level of the Fowler Building. A decorated donation box sat at the end of a long row of tables filled with biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes, and fruit. The collected donations will go to Toys for Tots, which provides Christmas gifts to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them presents at Christmas time.

Dave Billington, director of facilities and capital projects at Hillsdale College, said he is happy to have Hillsdale College faculty and staff together to support a good cause. “This breakfast is a good time for so many of us who work across campus to get together and celebrate the season while giving back to the Hillsdale community,” Billington said.
