Hillsdale College Radio Students Named Finalists in Michigan Association of Broadcasters’ 2024 College Audio Awards
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College students were selected as Michigan Association of Broadcasters’ 2024 College Audio Awards finalists in seven different categories. First place, second place, and honorable mention winners will be announced on March 18 at the MAB Student Broadcast Awards Luncheon in Lansing.
Hillsdale College students were selected as finalists in the following categories:

“I am very proud of all of our students for their well-deserved honors,” said Scot Bertram, general manager of WRFH/Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM. “Our students are driven to create high-quality audio content, and it is rewarding to see others recognize what we’re accomplishing at WRFH.”
WRFH is the student-run radio station of Hillsdale College. Since its founding in 2016, Hillsdale students have created thousands of hours of content and developed hundreds of episodes of radio shows focusing on a wide variety of topics. Over the years, WRFH students and programming have earned high honors, including 25 finalists and 16 winners of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Student Broadcast Awards, 48 finalists and 7 winners of the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Award, and 15 finalists and 5 winners of the College Broadcasters, Inc. awards.
