Hillsdale College Student Takes First Place at National Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards
Boudreaux was awarded first place for her show “PFAS: Forever Chemicals.” This award is WFRH/Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM’s eighth national first-place award from the National Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards. Boudreaux is a politics major from Ann Arbor. Other Hillsdale College students were named finalists in seven categories at this year’s honors. Each finalist was among the top five percent of submissions in each category.
“Our students produce impressive content, and once again their hard work has been recognized,” said Lecturer in Journalism and General Manager of WRFH/Radio Free 101.7 FM Hillsdale Scot Bertram. “Our students have a passion for audio and storytelling. They’ve dedicated themselves to creating high-quality programming and that effort is reflected in their accomplishments.”
The Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards are open to all college stations across the country. They present awards each year to college and high school media outlets across more than 100 categories. The full list of winners and finalists is available here.
