Hillsdale College’s K-12 Education Office Announces its 2022-2023 Master Teachers

HILLSDALE, Mich. — The K-12 Education Office at Hillsdale College has announced its 2022-2023 Master Teachers. This is the third cohort of Master Teachers, who are honored for their excellence in the art of teaching. The program is part of Hillsdale’s efforts in K-12 American classical education, which include the Barney Charter School Initiative and the Hoogland Center for Teaching Excellence. 

 “Good teachers make classical curriculum come to life by inspiring a sense of wonder and a love of learning in their students,” said Kathleen O’Toole, assistant provost for K-12 education. “These ten teachers demonstrate excellence in teaching and should be commended for their important work.” 

 The following teachers will serve Hillsdale member schools by offering insight into the curriculum, mentoring new teachers, and providing sample resources that align with classical pedagogy.
