Poet Paul Mariani Visits Hillsdale College

Hillsdale, Michigan: Hillsdale College’s Department of English presents two public appearances by Paul Mariani, both at 8 p.m. in the College’s Dow Conference Center:

• April 15: Poetry reading
• April 16: Lecture on “A New Knowledge of Reality: Wallace Stevens’ Final Phase”

Paul Mariani has taught English literature and poetry for more than 45 years. He is currently University Professor of English at Boston College. He is the author of five literary biographies, seven volumes of poetry, and numerous other books. Dr. Mariani earned a B.A. from Manhattan College, an M.A. from Colgate University, and a Ph.D. from City University of New York.
