Ronald C. Nolan Appointed to Hillsdale College Board of Trustees
HILLSDALE, Mich. —Ronald C. Nolan of Louisburg, Kansas, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of Hillsdale College, a private classical liberal arts college in south central Michigan. Nolan is the founder of Nolan Real Estate Services (NRES), a full-service acquisition and management business specializing in the hospitality sector.
“Hillsdale College has been devoted to providing the best liberal arts education in the nation while upholding and advancing principles of freedom,” said Rich Péwé, chief administrative officer of Hillsdale College. “The Board of Trustees is critical to this shared endeavor, and we are grateful for Mr. Nolan’s service.”

Nolan graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology. As president of NRES, he spent the past 45 years involved in the real estate business, including construction and asset management and property management. In the 1980s, the firm syndicated many projects regionally, and by 2012 it had 18,000 under management. Nolan has bought, sold, and brokered more than $2 billion in assets and handled more than 100 transactions.
He is an avid bird hunter and a high-performance track-car driver. He and his wife reside on a farm in Louisburg, Kansas.
