Dan DuBois, ’91, received a life-changing visit from then-Charger baseball coach Pat Riepma. He can’t imagine what his life would have been like without his Hillsdale experience. “If (Riepma) hadn’t come (to recruit me), I don’t know what I would have been doing.”

Understanding and Preparedness: Hillsdale’s Military History Program

Hillsdale College’s new Center for Military History and Grand Strategy (CMHGS) offers a minor consisting of 18 credit hours to students. Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn recruited Dr. Edward Gutiérrez to create this initiative to understand war and strategy.
