Hillsdale College in D.C. Holds Event on the Ideological State of Universities

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College’s Academy for Science and Freedom held a day-long event on Oct. 21 titled “Reversing the Ideological Capture of Universities” at its D.C. campus. The event was co-hosted with the Global Liberty Institute and the Salem Center for Policy at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. It featured panel discussions on potential solutions for decreasing ideological restrictions on college campuses around the country.

More than 700 guests attended the evening’s events, which included dinner and a colloquium featuring the Academy for Science & Freedom’s three founding fellows: Scott Atlas, M.D.; Jay Bhattacharya, M.D., Ph.D.; and Martin Kulldorff, Ph.D.

Hillsdale College in D.C. Hosts Thomas Spoehr for Lecture on Wokeness in the Military

HILLSDALE, Mich. — National defense expert Thomas Spoehr delivered a lecture titled “The Rise of Wokeness and Decline of Readiness in the Military” at Hillsdale College’s campus in Washington, D.C., on July 20. Van Andel Graduate School of Government Celebrates First Graduating Class

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College’s Van Andel Graduate School of Government in Washington, D.C., celebrated its first graduating class on Saturday, May 7. Caitlin Burke, Steve Schaefer, and Bridget Weisenburger each received their Master of Arts in Government degree at the main campus graduation ceremony.
