Hillsdale College Tower Players Present “Our Town”

HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College Tower Players celebrated 75 years by returning to its first major production, Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town,” which opened on Nov. 9. The play runs in the Markel Auditorium in the Fine Arts Building through Nov. 12. Students, faculty, and community members enjoyed the opening night performance.

Hillsdale College Tower Players Present Brian Friel’s “Translations”

The Hillsdale College Tower Players opens their production of “Translations,” by Brian Friel on Sept. 28 in the College’s Markel Auditorium. Students, faculty, and community members will attend the opening performance. The play runs through Oct. 2. “The students have worked quickly to bring this beautiful and nuanced play to life in a little more than one month of rehearsals,” said James Brandon, chairman and professor of theatre. “Brian Friel’s play is about the human condition, and our constant desire to be understood.”
