HILLSDALE, Mich. — The K-12 Education Office at Hillsdale College has announced its 2023-2024 Master Teachers. This is the fourth cohort of Master Teachers, who are honored for their excellence in the art of teaching. The program is part of Hillsdale’s efforts in K-12 American classical education, which include the Barney Charter School Initiative and the Hoogland Center for Teaching Excellence.

Hillsdale College Hosts Annual Liberty Shooting Camps
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College hosted its annual Ladies for Liberty and Couples for Liberty Camps at the John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center. Through training and lessons on gun safety, the Liberty Shooting Camps seek to increase participants’ confidence and skill in shooting sports. Campers also heard lectures from Hillsdale College faculty on the U.S. Constitution and Second Amendment.
Chicago-Based Ballet 5:8 Performs at Hillsdale College
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College hosted Ballet 5:8 for a performance on September 17. The company performed “Golden Sessions and Gospel Impressions,” which draws inspiration from C.S. Lewis’s “The Four Loves” and Makoto Fujimura’s “The Four Holy Gospels,” in Markel Auditorium. The performance was open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the Hillsdale community.

Hillsdale College Chapel Choir Releases Choral Evensong Semester Schedule
HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College Chapel Choir has announced the date of its fall semester Choral Evensong performances. The choir will be led by Professor Timothy McDonnell. HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College chapter of Young Americans for Freedom held a memorial on September 11 to honor the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks. This project is part of YAF’s nationwide 9/11: Never Forget Project.
Hillsdale College Features Modern Freelance Illustrator and Writer Andrew Bosley
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College announces the kickoff of its 2023-2024 Professional Artist Series with an exhibit of illustrations by Andrew Bosley, a freelance illustrator, game designer, and writer whose work is featured in Everdell, Assassin’s Creed, and Ghost Recon. Students and community members can visit the Bosley exhibit in the Daughtrey Art Gallery from Sept. 8, through Oct. 18.
