HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College has launched a new website for its Blake Center for Faith and Freedom. In addition to articulating the Blake Center’s mission, the new website will feature a calendar of its upcoming public events along with photos of Blake Center for Faith and Freedom website events.

Hillsdale College Fine Arts Presents Opera Workshop Performances

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College student vocalists presented scenes from various operas during Parents Weekend on Oct. 21 and 22 in Markel Auditorium. The performance featured music by Mozart, Donizetti, Hagen, and others, and was open to students, their families, faculty, staff, and members of the community.

Hillsdale College Athletics Breaks Ground on New Stadium and Field

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College Athletics broke ground on the Lenda and Glenda Hill Stadium and Delp Field on Friday, Oct. 21. This project is part of the college’s outdoor athletic facility improvement plan.

Hillsdale College Fine Arts Holds College Symphony Orchestra

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College’s Symphony Orchestra opened their 2022-2023 season on Oct. 22 and 23, performing George Gershwin’s “An American in Paris” and Tchaikovsky’s “Pathétique” in Christ Chapel. These performances occurred during the annual fall Parents Weekend, allowing for students and their families to attend. Around 1,500 people attended the performances.

Hillsdale College Hosts Hometown Lecture Series in Davenport

Williams Chair in Free Market Economics and Associate Professor of Economics Roger Butters gave a talk titled, “Socialism Isn’t the Solution.”

Hillsdale College Hosts Fall 2022 Pulliam Fellow, Alexandra DeSanctis

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College hosted National Review contributing writer and Ethics and Public Policy Center fellow Alexandra DeSanctis as the college’s fall 2022 Eugene C. Pulliam Distinguished Visiting Fellow in Journalism from Sept. 19 to 29. DeSanctis is best known for her writing on abortion and her recent book, co-written with Ryan Anderson, “Tearing Us Apart: How Abortion Harms Everything and Solves Nothing.”
