Classmates from 1964 and 1974 Reunite on Campus

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Members of the Hillsdale College 1974 and 1964 graduating classes returned to campus from April 10-12 to celebrate their 50- and 60-year class reunions. This year, those who graduated before 1974 were also invited to participate in the three-day event, which included campus and Halter Center tours, dinner with live music, cocktail receptions, trivia, and the opportunity to attend classes.

Hillsdale College Breaks Ground on Phi Sig Pavilion

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College broke ground on the Phi Sig Pavilion on Sept. 23 during Homecoming Weekend. More than 200 alumni, donors, students, and faculty and staff members attended. The new pavilion will be used to host orientation events, performances, classes, and other student activities.

Hillsdale College Hosts 24th Annual Athletic Hall of Fame Induction

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College congratulated new inductees to the Athletic Hall of Fame at its 24th annual Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet on September 22. This year’s inductees included alumni Michael Broome (‘82 football), Kenneth Moorehead (‘71 basketball), Ralph Perriello Sr. (‘64 Football), Troy Salvior (‘90 baseball), and Silvia Siqueira (‘93 tennis).

Hillsdale College Hosts Alumni for Third Annual White & Blue Weekend and Honors Distinguished Alumni

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College held its third annual White & Blue Alumni Weekend from May 18 to 21. “The White & Blue Weekend is meant to bring old friends back to campus and to honor some of our most distinguished alumni” said Colleen McGinness, executive director of Alumni Relations. “This year’s weekend was a hit. Hillsdale College Ph.D. Candidate Bruno Cortes Presents Doctoral Research

Halter Shooting Sports Center Hosts Memorial Sporting Clays Classic

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College hosted its seventh annual Tom Klix Memorial Sporting Clays Classic on Sept. 24 at the John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center. The annual sporting clays classic was named for a 1975 Hillsdale College graduate and longtime supporter of the College’s shotgun team. The event raised approximately $13,000 for the endowment of shooting sports scholarships.
