HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College Choir and Chamber Choir performed their annual spring concert on April 23 at Christ Chapel. Hillsdale College faculty, staff, students, and friends attended the concert, which was directed by James Holleman, professor of music.
Hillsdale College Announces New Podcast Network and Debut of The Larry P. Arnn Show
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College announces the launch of a new podcast, The Larry P. Arnn Show, which will feature college President Larry Arnn interviewing distinguished guests to Hillsdale’s campus. The podcast will be hosted on the college’s new integrated Hillsdale College Podcast Network, which also features several other podcasts, including The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour, The Hillsdale Dialogues, and The Hillsdale College K-12 Classical Education Podcast.

Classmates from 1973 and 1963 Reunite on Campus
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Members of the Hillsdale College graduating classes of 1973 and 1963 returned to campus April 12-14 to celebrate their 50- and 60-year class reunions. The three-day event included campus and Halter Center tours, dinner with live music, recognition at Hillsdale College’s Spring Convocation, a memorial service, and class attendance.
Hillsdale College’s Paul Hosmer Receives Emily Daugherty Award for Teaching Excellence
HILLSDALE, Mich. — The 2023 Emily Daugherty Award for Teaching Excellence was presented to Paul Hosmer, chair and associate professor of physics. Faculty, students, and friends of Hillsdale College recognized Hosmer at Spring Convocation on April 13. “Paul Hosmer is an excellent teacher and very deserving of this honor,” said Hillsdale College Provost Chris VanOrman. “The college is proud to have him as a distinguished member of our faculty.”

Stephen Blackwood Delivers Drummond Lecture in Christ Chapel
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Stephen Blackwood, founding president of Ralston College, presented the third Drummond Lecture of the 2022-2023 academic year in Hillsdale College’s Christ Chapel on March 30. His lecture was titled “‘What a Piece of Work is a Man’: Radical Thoughts on Human Nature.”
Hillsdale College Announces New Director of Athletics
HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College announces the appointment of John Tharp as the new director of athletics. Tharp replaces Don Brubacher, who has been director of athletics since 2008.
Hillsdale College Shotgun Team Places 5th at National Championship
HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College Shotgun Team won 5th place overall at the Association of College Unions International and Scholastic Clay Target Program National Championship in San Antonio, Texas. The Hillsdale Shotgun Team competed in Division II against 19 other programs and earned multiple individual and team awards.
