Hillsdale College Hosts Second CCA Seminar of 2019-20 Academic Year

On November 3–6, Hillsdale College will host a Center for Constructive Alternatives (CCA) seminar entitled, “Socialism.” This second CCA of the 2019-2020 academic year, co-sponsored by the Ludwig von Mises Lecture Series, will consider socialism, its practice over time, and its resurgence today.

On Friday, September 20, Hillsdale College hosted its 68th annual Alumni Awards Banquet to recognize alumni for their professional achievements, with a special recognition of Professor Thomas Conner, the William P. Harris Chair in Military History. Conner received an Honorary Alumnus Award in honor of his 36 years on the Hillsdale College faculty.

Hillsdale College Shotgun Team Wins High Overall Championship in Scholastic Clay Target Program National College Championships

From October 18 to 20, the Hillsdale College Shotgun Team competed in the 2019 Scholastic Clay Target Program National College Championships. The event, held at the Cardinal Center in Marengo, OH, saw over 230 competitors and 27 collegiate shooting programs.
