Hillsdale College Grants Honorary Degrees at Commencement Ceremony

HILLSDALE, Mich. — At its 172nd annual Commencement ceremony on May 11, Hillsdale College awarded Honorary Doctorate of Public Service degrees to John and Susan Cervini, Diana Davis Spencer, and Abby Spencer Moffat. Hillsdale College President Dr. Larry P. Arnn awarded the degrees.

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College celebrated its 172nd Commencement on Saturday, May 11. Pat Sajak, television game show host and chairman of the College’s Board of Trustees, delivered the keynote address, and the College conferred honorary degrees and recognized top academic graduates.

Three Hillsdale College Graduating Seniors Commissioned by U.S. Marine Corps

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College congratulates Tomasz Ignatik and Joseph Randolph on their commissions to the U.S. Marine Corps and Joseph Hardenbergh on the commission he will receive later this summer. The college hosted an outdoor ceremony at the Civil War Soldiers’ Monument on May 11 to honor the students’ achievement and willingness to serve.

Hillsdale College Mock Trial Team Wins Second Place at National Championship Tournament

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College’s Mock Trial “A” team placed first in their division and finished national runner-up at the American Mock Trial Association’s National Championship Tournament held between April 19 to 21. The tournament was hosted by Loyola University Chicago and the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.

Hillsdale College Graduate Student Charles Stalzer Wins Judith Finn Memorial Award

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College announces the newest recipient of the Judith Finn Memorial Award, Charles Stalzer. Stalzer will receive his master’s degree this year in Politics from the College’s Van Andel Graduate School of Statesmanship. His academic interests include 21st-century American Progressivism, Catholic Political Thought, and the U.S. Intelligence Community and National Security State.
