Hillsdale College Shotgun Coach Wins Bronze Medal at the CAT Championship

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Caitlin Connor Royer, assistant program development and competition manager and assistant shotgun coach at Hillsdale College, took home a bronze medal during the Confederation of the Americas Championship in Lima, Peru.

Hillsdale College Student Jordan Sapp Earns Gold Medal at ISSF World Championship

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College shotgun team member Jordan Sapp took home a gold medal during the International Shooting Sport Federation Word Championship in Osijek, Croatia. Sapp, a Hillsdale College freshman, competed on USA Shooting’s three-man Junior Skeet Team.

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College Athletics broke ground on the Lenda and Glenda Hill Stadium and Delp Field on Friday, Oct. 21. This project is part of the college’s outdoor athletic facility improvement plan.

Hillsdale College Hosts Track and Field Summer Camps

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College held track and field summer camps for students from the surrounding region from July 6 to July 9 and July 10 to July 13. These camps trained athletes aged 12 to18 in hurdles, jumps, sprints, middle-distance running, and throws and as well as in flexibility and weight training. Participating students had the opportunity to learn from and train with Hillsdale College’s Division II coaches.

HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Hillsdale College men’s basketball team welcomed students from the surrounding region for various athletic camps from June 20-26. These camps consisted of a youth camp for grades 1-8 and a team camp shootout for varsity and junior varsity high school teams.

HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted the Charger ESPYs in Searle Center on April 27. The ESPYs are an awards ceremony recognizing student-athletes and staff on their accomplishments throughout the year.

Hillsdale College Hosts 23rd Annual Athletic Hall of Fame Induction

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Hillsdale College congratulated new inductees to the Athletic Hall of Fame at its 23rd annual Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet in the Searle Center on March 26, 2022. This year’s inductees included alumni Bob Mallendick (’66), Jason Stomps (’10), and the 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991 softball teams.
